EnRD Program for Culasi

Hon. Joel A. Lomugdang has signed the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with DENR Region VI and GIZ for the implementation of the ForClim Panay Project during the Organizational Meeting of the RDC-VI ForClim Management committee (FMC) last 27 May 2011 at the Board Room, Iloilo Provicial Capitol, Iloilo City.

          The Forest and Climate Protection Project panay is under the Philippine-German Environment & Rural Development (EnRD) Program.

          Mayor Lomugdang requested the DENR CENRO Culasi Survey Party to conduct reconnaissance survey of the proposed reforestation/agroforestry project in the barangays of Magsaysay, Osorio and Flores, Culasi, Antique funded by GIZForClim and for their office to issue area clearance certificate.

          On August 11-12, 2011, members of Technical Working Group will convene for another workshop Module 1. With this, we believe that people of Culasi will have room for prosperity and to next generation to come.
